Shipping Policies

Chocomise products are delivered Australia-wide and deliveries take place between 8:30am - 5pm on the day selected. We take great care with the shipping of your order to ensure that it arrives in optimal condition. As a small family business working around the clock to create our products and our products are all custom designed, made and personalised for you. Therefore, we require a minimum of 14 business days to complete your design, produce your order and allow time for shipping. However, if you need a swift turnaround time that is less than 14 business days please email us at orders@Chocomise.com.au and should it be possible we can offer a rush service. Charges may apply for this service.

Due to the sheer volume of deliveries, Chocomise.com.au or our delivery partners are not always in a position to contact gift-recipients and/or other parties by phone if/when the requested delivery location is unattended and/or to obtain further delivery instructions. It is important the customer provides clear and accurate delivery instructions when placing their order.

Chocomise.com.au retains records for proof of delivery, and remains exempt from any liability or responsibility for loss or damage arising as a result of parcels being left safely and securely at unattended premises which may directly cause 'missing, melted, infested or undelivered' products.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have selected authority to leave unattended shipping, you take full responsibility of your parcel should it go missing. If you'd like to eliminate the risk, please either arrange for someone to be present upon delivery or have your gift delivered to a location where someone is available to receive it.

Should the delivery address supplied by the customer be incorrect or insufficient details provided, Chocomise cannot accept any responsibility for any loss experienced. It is the obligation of the customer to supply accurate details at the time of order.

When supplied with an incorrect address, the box will be redirected back to the Chocomise  and the product may be disposed of. It is our commitment that all products are delivered at the highest quality and a decision will be made to dispose of and re-directed orders, once returned. This will be at the discretion of Chocomise.com.au. In the case of a wrong or non-complete delivery address, It is the customer’s responsibility to decide on whether they would like to have the order remade and have it delivered on a different day to the correct address. Please be aware that should the original order not meet our quality standards, fees may apply in order to re-create the order and a rush order fee may be applied. In the case of a wrong or non-complete delivery address, and re delivery is not available, the customer will lose all monies spent on the products, add-ons and delivery.

When placing your order we ask that you select your delivery date the calendar will show the available dates. 14 business days is the minimum time we require to complete your design, produce and ship your order. Should there be an issue with us meeting that specific date, we will contact you via the details provided to arrange the next best date for delivery as close to the original date selected.

At this moment in time we are happy to announce that we have not been faced with shipping or delivery delays due to Covid. That being said, given the volatile nature of the pandemic we work where possible to accommodate orders and work with any guidelines or restrictions set in place by the government. Should we be faced with a potential issue delivering your order, we will contact you as soon as an issue is identified and work with our clients to develop a solution to ensure your order is met. If that is not possible other arrangements will be made. 

Please note that due to the current Coronavirus crisis, both Australia Post and our other nominated couriers are sometimes taking an extra day(s) beyond their standard delivery times to deliver parcels. The reason for this is due to new delivery procedures related to "contact-free" shipping as well as the dramatic increase in order volumes at this time. Please take this into consideration when placing your order. It is the discretion of the delivery driver if your parcel will be safely dropped at your property - if there is no safe place to leave the parcel it may be taken to a secondary location for collection.

ABSOLUTELY! Should you wish to delay your delivery for a particular reason, please contact orders@chocmise.com.au and we’ll be happy to assist.

As the products we send are perishable, all orders are dispatched the fastest possible method. This means that we may use different shipping services to send parcels. This is done to ensure orders arrive in a timely fashion and allows us to keep our shipping charges as low as possible. The cost of shipping is calculated at checkout and is dependent on the amount of products ordered, their weight and destination, as well as how fast you would like your order produced. For more information on faster shipping, please see “Rush Charges” below.

If you would like your order to be moved to the head of the queue for processing, please email us at orders@chocmise.com.au. There is an additional charge for this service. The time-frame for shipping is still the same as a regular order however it will be on its way to you sooner than the regular processing time.

If you are placing your order online, please proceed to place your order and contact us at order@chocmise.com.au to make arrangements to expedite your order.

There are many factors that can affect the delivery of your parcel. 98% of deliveries are made on the day expected in the morning, But exceptions do occur. We do not recommend taking days off from work to await parcels being delivered, and do not consider your decision to do this as the basis for compensation for late parcels. If you wish to ensure somebody is present for deliveries, we recommend having your packages delivered to your friend’s or family member’s or your workplace

All of our products come with free tracking and once your order has been shipped your tracking numbers will be available to you.

We  do ensure that your product(s) are packaged with enough protection to get it safely to you, however from time to time damages may be caused to deliveries due to the package being mistreated by the mail service. Should you find this has happened with your purchase, please email orders@chocmise.com.au with:

     - Your order number.

    - A picture of the damaged product.

Once this is received and confirmed, we will provide a solution to rectify the issue as promptly as possible.
